Leibster Award
I've been tagged for this award by a cutie named Hannah with a blog- www.hannikins.blogspot.co.uk (+Hannah F) and I'm not quite sure how i go about this but i guess i should try. I've heard that the award promotes blogs who have few followers (under 200) so they gain confidence and publicity, apparently i'm meant to answer the questions that Hannah has assigned me then tag another 10 blogs and give them a new set of questions to answer.
These are the questions that Hannah has set me to answer. so here goes...
1. What is your all time must have beauty product?
-For me, my must have beauty product has to be my Bourjois Healthy Balance Matt Finish Compressed Powder. This is one of my go to products and i think i have probably demolished about 4 in the last year, since i have discovered it. The powder is literally the best around and is not that pricey, at most drug stores it is around £8-£9 and is so worth the money! it states that it has a 10 hour matte finish, this is almost 100% true, the matte finish part is anyway but it usually lasts me about 3-4 hours. Its a fab product to just carry everywhere with you if you need a quick powder in the heat, or if you want to add a bit of colour to the face as well.
2. What is you favorite thing to do in your spare time?
-I don't have much spare time between juggling my school work, dance classes and working in a charity shop, but when i do have the odd hour to waste away and have some me time, i usually run a hot bath and sit in it for ages whilst leaning over and scrolling threw blogs and watching beauty blogs on YouTube If i have the weekends free i call up friends and drag them out of the house to do something fun like shopping, sight seeing or just hanging out at new places.
3. What is your style of fashion?
- i think that i have a vary varied fashion style depending on my mood and the weather.If (like most days in the UK) its rainy and mild i usually opt for a more casual look like a cute T Shirt under a funky leather jacket with coloured jeans and Chelsea boots. If on the rare chance its sunny then usually i'm in a good mood, which means i'll wear brighter colours with a cool pair of gladiators and shades.
4. How do you most like to style you hair?
- I personally hate having my hair down unless i'm going somewhere nice for the day, but even then i will carry a a hair band. I just hate feeling the hair on my face and neck, i feel it distracts me from what i'm doing so i much rather tie my hair up in a messy bun or use a doughnut to make it smarter for school/work or i will usually tie a french braid or a side plait through my ombre ends. When i do have my hair down i straighten it or leave it naturally blow dried.
5. Mascara or base make up?
-not quite sure about this question. I'm a huge fan of mascara because i fell it completes the face and brightens the whole look, my favorite mascara of all time is the Smashbox Full Exposure Mascara. Recently i've been clearing out my collection of mascaras and re discovered this gem which i have in the colour 'Jet Black' its amazing and really brightens your face. However, as much as i am obsessed with mascara i'm going to have to go with base make up because i would never go out with just mascara on but i would go out with just base makeup because at least then i cover all my blemishes and flaws.
6. Twitter or Instagram?
- INSTAGRAM. i am literally obsessed with Instagram and as much as i love a good tweet to express my feelings, nothing compares to the love i have for my fav app. you can follow me on instagram my user name is - charlottejaynewild and you can follow me on twitter - @wild_charlotte_
7. Who is your favourite youtuber/ blogger?
My all time fav you tuber has to be Tanya Burr, i am obsessed with her videos and everything about her life. When she posts a new tutorial video it makes my week and i usually end up copying her new looks that she creates. I also love her vlogs! My favorite blogger is quite a hard one. I haven't been blogging for too long so haven't had a huge amount of time to check out other peoples logs. But so far i am loving Zoellas blog who i'm sure every one will be familiar with. Also Fleur de Force, i love watching her YouTube videos also.
8. Whats you favorite blog or you tube tag?
-My favorite YouTube tag is obviously the boyfriend tag because i just love watching couples like Savannah and Jared and cute couples test their knowledge on each other, i know its sappy but i love it hah! I also love the draw my life tag.I am not sure if thats a tag as much, but still every draw my life video is really interesting and i love getting to see what others lives are like.
9. What/ who inspired you to blog?
- The person that inspired me to blog was the one and only Tanya Burr, also my mum did haha! She doesn't actually know i have this blog but she has always encouraged me to create one to see what its like so that's what i'm doing i guess!
10. What is favorite food?
-This is the hardest question out there, i literally can NOT pick a favorite food. I love all of the foods to much to single out one and choose it as my favorite To give you an answer for the question i will tell you my favorite food of the day. That is Roast Chicken Fridge Raiders. If you've never had fridge raiders before they are a packet of small chunks of roast chicken and they are so nice to have as a snack with your lunch and surprisingly don't have that many calories!

Summer time sadness
Unfortunately this summer is quickly coming to an end, i have exactly 2 weeks left of freedom and over the past 4 weeks i have been travelling between Jersey,Ireland and the UK and discovered a few gems along the way that i had to bring back home with me
First of all i have a new obsession with them brand 'smash box' i discovered them in the Duty free shop in Cork,Ireland. The packaging is so cool its very modern and slick. This is the 'waterproof shadow liner' which i bought to bring out my eyes and make them more of a key feature to my face, if your like me and have smaller, almond shaped eyes then this liner is a must because it realy does luminate the eyes.
I also bought a new shadow pallet from Smashbox which is very handy because it includes 3 key colours that i use in my everyday makeup. I start by applying the pink colour as a base and then use the brown as a contour to emphasise my eye shape, and finally blend it all together with my Mac 217 brush and use the bright white colour to put in the corner of my eyes and along my brow bone to finish off.

Half way through 2013
Anyway..that was a random off topic thought there..but what the point of this post is meant to be is to just let everyone know a few things that i have been obsessing over the past month..if you want to know..if not, then you will know now..that really doesnt make sense.
This is a number that i bought from Zara at the start of August and i am in love. This picture is followed by some photos of the detailing on the dress, which is definitely the best part!
This is the back which has a sheer panel and larger section of lace in between which cuts down the back and creates a classy but youthful look.
As well as clothes i have been catching up on some reading that doesn't involve me writing a review on each chapter for Mrs Joyce the english teacher, i wanted to read a light chick flick and i had read a lot of Lauren Weisberger books in the past this one was a superb girly read perfect for holiday.
As well as reading I've been OBSESSED with the TV series Pretty Little Liars. One of my friends suggested that i watch it and i thought i would give it a go. It was honestly the best decision I've made in a long long time. Its a perfect combination of mystery,romance and adventure. Im in love with the styling especially. Each character has their own unique style and I'm constantly updating my wardrobe in order to mirror theirs!

first attempt
Hello, Hi, Holla, Greetings.. not really sure how to introduce myself, i should have probably thought this through before i started typing.
Anyway, i'll start with my name. Charlotte Jayne Wild (I add a 'y' in the middle of Jane because i think Jane without a 'y' is a bit 'plain Jane' if you pardon the pun)
I'm not really sure what to tell you to expect with this blog. I'm not even sure myself. what i do know is that my passion for wonderful things can not be contained any longer.
I no longer want to read other peoples blogs and just listen to them tell me that blogging is a fab way to release my love for the fashion world and all its wonderful perks. I need to start being a doer. Instead of sitting around procrastinating, waiting for the the doing bit of doing to happen.
Which is why i'm starting up this blog in an attempt to find people who share the same mind set as me ( if thats even possible) and share the love of all things pretty.
That's all i have to say really, expect the unexpected.
